About Swan Veterinary Practice

Established in 1993, Swan Veterinary Practice is a small independent practice with the health and welfare of all of our patients at the center of our business. We pride ourselves in being able to offer excellent veterinary treatment at an affordable cost. Our Main practice is at DYCE where appointments can be made and routine, major and minor surgical procedures are performed. This is also where all patients come for x-rays and scans. Holburn street is open for all appointments and minor surgical procedures.

Our friendly team can help with all your animals needs. Advice, Health Checks and a wide range of treatment is available within our opening hours.

All out of hours services are provided by our on call partners, Vets Now at their Hospital facility in Kingswells. There are also times when we refer patients to specialist vets either close to Aberdeen or further afield. This is suggested on an individual case basis.

She worked for many years with the PDSA across the country and in her role as Lecturer and Head of Faculty with our local College she helped develop and deliver Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing courses. Trish has a particular interest in Education and laboratory work and has helped build the excellent in- house facilities we now have, meaning results and diagnosis can be reported much more quickly to clients.

Matthew Swan RVN

There is not much that goes on in the practice that Emma does not know about! She has an incredible memory for owners and their pets helping them with appointments, repeat medications and communicating advice to them from the veterinary team. As part of her role, Emma can also be seen helping during consults and will run bloods and care for our inpatients needs.

It is great to have Wendy back as part of the team. She works mainly at reception and will answer your calls, speaking to the veterinary team as required in order to help you and your pets in the best way she can. Wendy also prepares flea, tick and worm treatment and other medication for collection. Helping with orders and providing information around practice policy for neutering and vaccination is a key part of her role.
